Self-Efficacy in the Contemporary Teacher and the Role of the Principal

Abstract
Self-efficacy in teachers has the potential to improve classroom instruction, classroom management, relationships with students and parents, and build a larger sense of collective effort to improve the quality of a school. Teachers with higher self-efficacy will improve student achievement. Principals who actively work to improve teacher efficacy may transform their school to become more effective. Together we can improve the educational experiences of our students.
