The purpose of writing a paper is to analyze the importance of management in the school library. The author conducted a literature review of several sources. The librarian in charge of the school library must have knowledge in fields such as management of programming, coordinating, evaluating all activities and is able to lead the staff. In addition they need to be provided and to equip themselves with passion, motivation and desire to work with. Good library management is carried out by personnel who have sufficient capability. This will help the process to optimize the function of the school library. Another attempt to do that is through training programs and human resources development librarian regularly.
