Abstract
Operational in front office requires competency in accordance with the duties and functions of each, where the hotel learning systems require a good learning facilities. In the hotel industry, service to the guests ranging from booking, arrival, until the guests left the hotel in operation require technology that is expressed by the term hotel system.
The research method that used is the quantitative method by using interval data by using the Likert scale where the measuring students of SMK Negeri 7 Medan by distributing questionnaires to 30 peoples to support research. Data analysis techniques used by the author in analyzing the data collected is qualitative descriptive method.
The study results showed a significant influence on students' competence of learning hotel system, 1) Media learning for front office 2) The implementation plan of learning for competence units handle reservations and front desk service accommodation 3) learning module front offfice.
