The research inspired by lowing work engagement of small trading business enterprise workers in Central Java, Indonesia. Based on preliminary study, the work engagement of worker only rise 2,4 averagely (on scale 5).  The purpose of this research is developing training model to improve worker’s work engagement. This is Research and Development (R&D) model that adopt Borg and Gall developing steps. Main steps of this research are formulating factual model, developing hipotetical model, and validating the model by expert. Result of this research is training model that teoritically might be improving work engagement of worker in small trading business entreprise.
