Leadership is an important element in improving the quality of education. In the context of schools, leaders are required to be able to lead people who are involved in school improvement. One leadership style is in line with improved quality of transformational leadership. This study aims to describe: (1) the quality of schools; (2) the transformational leadership; and (3) improving the quality of schools through transformational leadership. This research method is literature. The results of research that transformational leadership can improve the quality of schools through the processing of human resources with teachers. Recommendations for leaders are implementing transformational leadership to improve school quality. Leaders can develop these results to be researched or implemented in schools lead.
