Abstract
Kemampuan berpikir kritis atau critical thinking merupakan kemampuan yang wajib dimiliki oleh lulusan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Hal ini dikarenakan kemampuan ini akan selalu digunakan oleh peserta didik di kehidupan nyata terlebih pada dunia industri. Namun, pada kenyataannya kemampuan ini seringkali diabaikan dalam proses pembelajan. Kemampuan berpikir kritis peseta didik dapat ditingkatkan melalui proses pembelajaran dengan model Problem Based Learning. ModelProblem based learning merupakan sebuah model yang mengembangkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah dengan menggunakan masalah nyata yang akan membuat siswa menganalisis dan berpikir secara kritis. Model ini akan lebih baik ketika dibantu dengan media ICT dalam penyampaian informasi. Hal ini dikarenakan media ICT mampu menarik perhatian siswa dan mempu memberikan informasi dengan lebih jelas. Model Problem based learning berbantuan ICT harus diterapkan kepada peserta didik SMK sebagai solusi dalam peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis pada pembelajaran yang akan dilakukan. Hal ini dikarenakan lulusan SMK disiapkan untuk masuk dunia industry sehingga kemampuan berpikir kritis atas pemecahan masalah seharusnya dapat ditingkatkan. Tujuan literasi ini adalah untuk memberikan solusi terhadap kemampuan critical thinking peserta didik dengan menerapkan model Problem based learning berbantuan ICT. Hasil yang diinginkan dari literasi ini adalah dapat menerapkan model Problem based learning berbantuan ICT sebagai solusi dalam peningkatan kemampuan critical thinking peserta didik.
